This is Madison Malone and she is a member of our swimming club. She decided
that she wanted to raise some money for the Linda McCartney Centre where her mum
is having treatment. Madison decide that she wanted to do a sponsored swim.
Earlier in the month at the start of the swimming session Madison, who is six years old, started her sponsored swim. She swam and swam and swam and eventually stopped after she had swum 8 lengths (200 Metres). That was a tremendous effort and Madison raised a whopping £425. The picture shows Madison handing over the money she raised to some of the nurses at the centre.
