Liverpool 50m Sprints at the Aquatics Centre, Wavertree.
On Sunday 21st February 2010 a group of our swimmers took part in the
Liverpool 50m Sprints which took place art at the Aquatics Centre in Wavertree.
A
packed pool and arena made this a special day for all.
We were represented by 8 swimmers who all did exceptionally well.
The girls who took
part were:
- Sophie Hankin
- Heidi Wardell
- Abbie French
- Hannah Eccleston
- Eloise Healey
All the girls swam in the Butterfly, Backstroke, Breastroke and
Freestyle races.
The boys who took part were
- Callum Graham,
- Matthew Eccleston
- Alfie Wardell
The three boys all obtained Personal Bests in the races they entered.
Callum Graham also
picked up 3 trophies in the Breaststroke, Backstroke and Freestyle.
For all the swimmers it was the experience of swimming in the 50m pool that
excited them.
All their hard work in the pool is being rewarded.
Keep up
the good work as these results may inspire other swimmers to
take part in even more galas.
